Lessons I learned

Today I learned...

Because my cousins screwed my grandparents they choose not to help the good children, plus they may need money or loans to bail those kids out of jail. (NO TRUE STORY IT'S WHAT THE HELL THEY TOLD ME) So I have no co-signer so no student loans because I also have NO credit.

I learned that if you want to do well in life, know that no one will help you but if you choose to do wrong or have a million kids you have every opportunity in the world.

Last but not least I learned..financial aid is fuckin me slowly from behind and if I want to continue my education I should probably look into the lottery.

But on a lighter note...I am still an honors student.
But who the hell knows for how long?
Kick Rocks.

It sucks that your grandparents won't help you out, but you can do this on your own. Lots of people put themselves though college with NO help from anyone else.

I am feeling the shaft from financial aid myself. I say we put our heads together and come up with a get rich quick scheme to pay for school.lol

You can do it. You will stay an honors student because that is who you are. phenomenal.

Ok so here is the deal...that's how it is...my cousin, who by the way is the SAME age as me...we will BOTH be 27 this year...started having kids at 18, and has 3 little girls, they are beautiful adn all of that...but my point is this...no one said ANYTHING to her...i once mentioned having kids while in college and my Madea went OFF...last year i asked her why, why is it that the one that always seems to do right, HAS to always do right...

well she told me simply "I expect more of you" and that was that..she expected me to go to college, she expected me to pay for it on my own, even if that meant me taking out loans...she expected me to do what i knew was RIGHT...

so its not that those of us that do right, don't get any slack, they just expect more of you because they KNOW you are more than capable and will handle things for your life...

and YES right now, it sucks, it "kicks rocks" but in the end you will be a stronger woman because of it...TRUST me...like if you never TRUST me with anything else TRUST me with this...i have been there...you will truly be able to stand on your own two feet...

oh and its not like they aren't there for you, because when it really really comes down to it they will be, i know because it always felt like my parents ALWAYS had my brothers back and never mines, well that was because i always handled my bidness...but when it came down to it and i lost my job, my father paid my $1500+ a month bills until i could get on my feet, that was like 2-3 months...
sometimes, they just want to be sure that they were "right" about you, they want to be taken advantage of by the "good" one...so explain your situation, and let them know again how serious you are...
i know its frustrating to feel like you have to beg, but hey that's what the others ones do, TRUST they beg, they have no pride, so swollow yours and truly ask for help

Keep pluggin and chuggin. I paid off my secret agent training loans a couple of years ago a bit ahead of schedule and the journey to then and now was worth it.
